Founded by Maria Fontanellas in 2017, Mietis is a young luxury brand based in Barcelona.
Mietis translates cinematic and retrospective inspirations into contemporary and colourful designs with the aim of curating a timeless wardrobe, full of soulful pieces designed to last.
Sourced from a renowned Spanish tannery manufacturer, the highest quality leather is guaranteed, allowing Mietis to have total control of its key material.
Mietis believes that true luxury lies in the traceability and quality of its products, manufacturing its collections with highly skilled Spanish manufacturers.
With the aim of giving women the power to design their own piece, Mietis offers versatile and customisable designs that truly reflect their personality.
Mietis is a sweet imagination, full of dreams and childhood memories. This is materialised through vibrant colours that spread happiness and fantasy to the world. The blocks of colour give strength and personality to our designs, spreading positivity to our community.

MADE TO LAST. The product comes first. How and where we manufacture it is important. The luxury of Mietis is quality and durability. Our designs follow high quality standards made to last.
CONSCIOUS LUXURY. Designing from the idea of more in less, we produce better products in limited quantities. This efficient system reduces our environmental footprint and contributes to minimising the waste produced by the fashion industry.
By also offering pre-order items, we produce on demand, supporting a fashion cycle that fully meets the needs of its customers.
We present less seasonal collections, allowing us time to design and research in order to produce the best quality product and to do so with a more sustainable manufacturing method each time.
We do not adhere to the seasonality of the fashion industry. This gives us time to invest in research and design paying attention to every detail in order to make special products that last over time.
Created with the highest quality leathers, all our leather goods are manufactured in Spain, under the know-how of craftsmen who have been working in the sector for decades, guaranteeing excellence in all our creations.
The leather goods are manufactured in Ubrique and Barcelona, and the ready-to-wear collections in Barcelona. The close collaboration with our suppliers and manufacturers allows us to guarantee product traceability.
At MIETIS we develop projects to promote the circular economy. In 2018 we implemented in the market new high quality tanning products based on leather upcycling. Thanks to this project, Mietis has received a grant from the Generalitat de Catalunya in 2020.
